BRIAN TRAMMELL

SONGWRITER / PRODUCER

Mixing Engineer • Arranger • Multi-Instrumentalist.

From the first line to the finished mix.

I write songs and build records. From the first idea, lyric or voice memo through arrangement, production and mix, the song comes first.

Written. Arranged. Produced.

THE SONGS

The song is where everything starts. Here are a few examples of my writing, arrangement and production work.

AN ORIGINAL ALBUM BY BRIAN TRAMMELL

IT’S BOUT TIME

It’s Bout Time is a 15-song original project rooted in the storytelling, musicianship and production of ’90s country. Written from the ground up, the album brings together the kind of songs I’ve always loved—strong stories, memorable hooks, real instruments and arrangements built around the song.

15 ORIGINAL SONGS

CURRENTLY IN PRODUCTION

FROM IDEA TO FINISHED RECORD

WHAT I DO

Every project starts somewhere different. I can step in at the first idea, somewhere in the middle, or when the tracks are recorded and the song needs to be brought across the finish line.

01

WRITE

SONGWRITING • WRITING TO BRIEF • LYRICS • MELODY • HOOKS • SONG DEVELOPMENT

Starting with a title, story, lyrical line, voice memo or creative brief, I develop the idea into a complete song with lyrics, melody, chords, structure and a hook worth remembering.

02

PRODUCE

Song Development • Arrangement • Instrumentation • Vocal Production • Creative Direction

Taking a song from rough demo to full production, building the arrangement, instrumentation, dynamics and performances around what the song actually needs.

03

MIX

Editing • Vocal Production • Balance • Dynamics • Effects • Automation • Mix Delivery

Turning recorded tracks into a cohesive finished mix with the vocal, hook and emotion at the center. Editing, shaping and balancing the production so every part serves the song.

04

PLAY

Remote Bass • Vocals & Harmony • Acoustic/Rhythm Guitar • MIDI & Keys

Remote session performances built around the song. Bass is my primary instrument, with vocals and harmony, acoustic/rhythm guitar, keys and MIDI-based instrumentation available as the production requires.

BUILT ON A LIFETIME OF MUSIC

THE ROAD HERE

Music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started performing professionally as a kid with the Salem Boys Choir, eventually touring across 38 states, Canada and Europe and performing in concert halls, theaters, on recordings and television.

That foundation led to formal music study on a full music scholarship at Clackamas Community College, with training in music theory, ear training, voice, keyboard and MIDI production. From there came decades of working bands, hundreds of live performances, bass and vocals, recording sessions, arranging and learning what makes a song work from the inside out.

I began producing, arranging and mixing in 2010 and returned seriously to songwriting in 2025. Today those experiences all meet in the same place: writing songs, building productions and helping turn ideas into finished records.
